Italy is most known for its Design industry and quality of production, with Fashion Design being one of its biggest industries since the 11th century. With powerful cities of the time, such as Milan and Rome began to produce robes, jewelry textiles, shoes, fabrics, ornaments, and elaborate dresses. Italy housed the birth of a big quantity of luxury brands making it, nowadays, the first country to pop into our heads when talking about Fashion Design.

As a consumer, seeing the “Made in Italy” tag gives us a sense of trust in the quality of the product, but as a designer wanting to be inspired by the Italian history, it gives us, the obligation of making sure the company complies with a great design and even better qualities.
