It was planned to be released in the fall of 2001 as a celebration of the Italian culture, but with the 9/11 attack it became clear to the authors they had to take a different look at cultural heritages.(...)

"The text is an interesting read, because my field of design discipline fits better with the last part, than with the nine actors of furniture design. As a product developer, my focus is human-centered design and user experience, very much in alignment with Norman’s opinions on design. To look at my field through the eyes of the nine actors within Italian design, my job is to be a bit of everything and be able to
