my view on italicity
"The given chapter deals with the topic of Italicity and discusses the difference between “Italic people” and “Italians”. The author gives plenty of examples to describe what is meant by “Italic people”. Talking about those he is not describing people who share an ethnic or linguistic belonging with those of Italian origin nor people who simply speak the Italian language or hold the legal or institutional belonging of Italian citizens. What Piero Bassetti is trying to describe is much more than that.(...)"
